Founded in 1968 by its two partners Pietro Paolo Bergamaschi and Diano Tura, today Dorelan B & T SpA is a leading company in the production of mattresses, bedsteads, headboards, pillows and bed accessories for the hospitality industry as well as individuals. The experience of more than 40 years of activity, the constant search for innovation and the technology of our workshops allow our products to be appreciated both in the hotel sector and in the individual market.
Historically, corporate policy has focused on mobilizing significant resources for the key stages of the value chain.
Production site: in the complex, which occupies 60,000 m² overall, all production, storage, supply logistics, marketing logistics and administration activities are internalized. No need to resort to outsourcing.
The brand new 40,000 m² production site, located near the motorway branch A14 (Bologna - Forlì), is entirely powered by photovoltaic panels and is made with energy-efficient installations, proof of the commitment of Dorelan for the protection of the environment and its greatest respect.
Technological heritage: 4 different production lines with a capacity of 1,500 items per day.
- Range: Bonnel technology spring mattresses, LFK technology spring mattresses, independent spring mattresses, latex mattresses, Myform mattresses (3 high performance polyurethane foams), fixed wooden bedsteads, manual and electric relaxation basins, box springs Made of iron, Myform® pillows, latex, fiber and feather.
- Customers: 4,000 dealers throughout Italy and 1,500 customers in the hotel and community sector.
- Turnover: 2010? 31,700,000, 2011? 35,000,000, with constant growth of 15% over the last 5 years.
Single brand stores: Since 2002, a development plan has been launched for the creation of single-brand Dorelan stores in a logic similar to that of the franchise. After having selected the franchisee and ensured the adequacy of his profile, B & T S.p.A. makes available to him the exhibition structure and all his commercial know-how so that each franchisee can benefit from a great added value.
Today, there are 65 single-brand stores throughout Italy.
