MOSO Bamboo x-treme decking boards

MOSO Bamboo x-treme decking boards
A unique and innovative manufacturing process, a genuine ecological asset.
Thanks to an innovative process developed by MOSO, which destroys the sugar molecules in bamboo through heat treatment, the company has given bamboo high stability and increased its durability (from the initial class 5 to class 1 according to EN113/EN350).

At the same time, this unique manufacturing process prevents the growth of most moulds and micro-organisms naturally present in wood.

?MOSO Bamboo x-treme decking boards are made from heat-treated bamboo fibre that is then compressed to very high density,? explains Philippe Mamdy, Associate Director of MOSO. ?This double treatment, a genuine MOSO innovation, makes it suitable for all outdoor uses, and ideal in particular for decking and cladding.?

As a result, the decking boards in the MOSO Bamboo x-treme range offer excellent dimensional stability, and a durability (class 4) and hardness well above the best tropical wood species.

Looking to bring 'character' and a genuine touch of originality to outdoor spaces? EUROCLASS B fire rating.
As the only bamboo decking board of class 4 available on the market (according to standard EN335), the MOSO Bamboo x-treme range offers exceptional durability and high stability. It withstands both intense heat sources and humid environments, and is therefore a suitable solution for surrounding a swimming pool or even a Japanese pond in a garden.

Annual maintenance will keep it a dark brown, wood-like colour. Alternatively, the patina of time can also work wonders: without maintenance, the colour will turn slightly grey with a more pronounced, silvery grain.

?It is a living material that becomes more attractive over time,? Philippe Mamdy adds. ?It gives terraces, gardens, swimming pools, but also louvred shutters, villa façades and patio cladding a high-end finish and a real touch of originality.?

With a EUROCLASS B fire rating, these MOSO decking boards also withstand flames. They are ideal for decking and cladding in public places, such as parks, hotel gardens, schools or hospital grounds, for example.
